Edradour No.2 8 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled in 2026 at 57.1% to mark Andrew Symington's 40 years in the whisky industry, a career that began in 1986. It matured in first-fill Châteauneuf-du-Pape hogsheads. It is one half of an anniversary pairing with an Edradour No.1 6 Year Old PX Sherry, which comes from the original Edradour distillery, while this bottle is drawn from Edradour No.2. The wine casks bring dark berries, ripe plum, black cherry and warming spice. On the palate come chocolate, sweet malt and red fruits, with gentle tannins and savoury depth.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
