Eigashima Akashi is a Japanese blended whisky, bottled by the distillery at 40% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It was matured for five years in American oak: three years in hogsheads and two in white oak barrels. The nose is fresh and spicy, with almost sugary, fruity aromas. On the palate it is vibrant and powerful, with woody notes leading towards dried fruits.
