Type
Single Malt Whisky
Cask Type
Ex-bourbon barrel
This is a Japanese single malt made at the Eigashima Shuzo distillery and bottled by the independent bottler Asta Morris. It was matured in an ex-bourbon barrel. The bourbon barrel maturation shows in the flavour, which is described as vanilla, citrus fruits and oak, along with other notes beyond those three. Eigashima is the distillery behind the spirit, and Asta Morris is the name that bottled it.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
