Sasanokawa Shuzo – Yamazakura 9 Year Old Cask Strength Japanese Whisky (70cl, 56%)

Yamazakura 9 Year Old is a Japanese malt whisky from Sasanokawa Shuzo, bottled at a cask strength of 56% ABV in a 70cl bottle and presented in its original box. It belongs to the group of ji-whiskies, a name the Japanese use for whiskies made by small local breweries and distilleries. These are usually not sold nationwide and are often little known outside their home areas. Many of the producers are better known for sake or shochu and make whisky alongside.
