Yamazakura Peated Blended is a three-year-old Japanese blended whisky from the Sasanokawa Shuzo distillery, in a 70cl bottle.
The peat is kept in balance, giving a smoky character without overpowering the other aromas.
The nose combines sweet malt, honey and light fruit alongside the peat. The palate is smooth and velvety, with vanilla, cocoa and a pinch of spice. The finish is long and lingering.
