A 22-year-old rum from the Last Casks collection, distilled in 2000. It was assembled by Master Distiller George Robinson from Coffey Still distillates from the Diamond distillery, then aged at Uitvlugt in ex-bourbon casks before bottling cask strength without addition or reduction.
It has an amber appearance. The nose shows tropical intensity with vanilla, caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon, liquorice and hazelnut; the first three carry through on the palate, joined by molasses and honey.
The finish is long. It is suggested with dark chocolate.
