Elements of Islay Bourbon Cask is a blended malt whisky bottled at 54.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in both first-fill and refill bourbon barrels and released in 2022 as part of a new core trilogy of whiskies.
The style is fruity and smoky. The nose brings coal smoke, tropical fruit, vanilla candles and jam. On the palate come fresh coffee, cocoa powder, vanilla custard and maple syrup, with billowing peat smoke and tangy fruit running throughout.
