Elijah Craig Batch 1 Barrel Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill in Bardstown, bottled at 139.4 proof, or 69.7% ABV. It is made from 12-year-old Heaven Hill barrels and is uncut, unfiltered and at natural barrel proof.
Batch 1 is one of the earliest releases in the Elijah Craig Barrel Proof programme. Its plain batch number dates from before the current A/B/C naming system, which follows a January, May and September release pattern.
