Elsburn The Harz is a German single malt in a 350ml bottle, bottled at 46%. It matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks and is bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.
This is an original bottling from Hercynian Distilling, also known as Hammerschmiede.
The nose is fruity, with toffee and light sherry notes. The palate is full-bodied, with vanilla, spice and a restrained oak dryness. The finish is long, warm and gently sweet, with fine spice.
