Elvis The King Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey (70cl, 45%)

Elvis The King is a Tennessee straight rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 45%. It is one of the first two releases of the licensed Elvis whiskey range, launched in 2021 by Grain & Barrel Spirits together with Elvis Presley Enterprises and dedicated to Elvis Presley. The mash bill is 95 per cent rye and 5 per cent malted barley, and the whiskey matures in new charred oak casks. Grain & Barrel Spirits sourced and blended the whiskeys. It is chill-filtered and has no added colouring. Sweet rye grass and citrus lead the nose, with a hint of apple. The palate is full and complex, with toasted oak, butterscotch, vanilla wafers and soft pepper. The finish is long, sweet and creamy.
