Emperor's Way Otto I is a German single malt bottled at 59.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a first-fill PX sherry hogshead and Oloroso sherry casks.
The Hammerschmiede in the Elsbach valley, in the southern Harz, is home to Hercynian Single Malt, which the Buchholz family has made from regional barley since 2002. Barley, rather than iron ore, is the raw material the family works with there.
