Stonewood 10 Year Old 1818 is a Bavarian single malt from the Schraml distillery in Germany, bottled at 45% ABV. The 1818 refers to the year the distillery began operating. It is matured for ten years in Limousin oak, ex-cognac casks. The nose is fresh and slightly tangy, with oranges and lemons, mild honey, green tea, apple, light spice and a hint of caramel. The palate balances sweet and spicy flavours, with the oak adding depth, and the finish is smooth and lingering.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
