English 11 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Batch 3, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose is complex, with vanilla and citrus, a herbal touch of mint and sage, and fruit including baked apple, peach, mango, dried apricot and cherry. Almonds sit in the background, and the oak reads as clean pencil shavings. On the palate it is sweet and spicy, then dry and woody, with cherries, apples and tropical fruit to the fore and a balanced peppery tingle. The finish is rich, oily and slightly dry.
