A Romagna Sangiovese Superiore DOP from Enio Ottaviani, made from Sangiovese grown in Romagna. It is deep ruby red, with aromas of ripe red fruit, light spice and a hint of vanilla from wood ageing. The tannic structure is well balanced with fresh acidity. On the palate it is vigorous yet balanced, with cherry, plum and a delicate herbal finish. It pairs with grilled or stewed meats, aged cheeses and mushroom dishes. Serve at 16-18°C.
