This is a 10 year old Miltonduff from Speyside, bottled independently by Epic Drams in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a hogshead and bottled at a cask strength of 62.2% ABV.
Miltonduff distillery began distilling in 1824, one year after the Excise Act 1823. Its style is described as light and fruity on the palate, with a thick texture, the result of a fermentation of around 48 hours, onion-shaped stills and maturation in ex-bourbon casks.
