Evan Williams – Black (75cl, 43%)

Evan Williams Black is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It is aged for at least four years in new charred oak barrels. It is a sour mash bourbon, a style that puts residue from the distillation back into the process. The Evan Williams distillery was founded in Louisville in 1783 and is described as the first American bourbon distillery in the United States. Toasted oak from the barrels, brown sugar sweetness and caramel are the flavours usually noted.
