Fable 8 Year Old Batch Three Blended Malt (46.5%)

Fable 8 Year Old Batch Three is a blended malt bottled at 46.5%, the third release from Fable in a run of 9,000 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. The whisky was matured for a minimum of eight years in ex-bourbon casks and hogsheads. The Fable range was created with Gpstudios and a group of artists, retelling the story of The Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay. The nose offers roasted malt, roasted coffee and baked apple. On the palate come orange peel, more baked apple, caramelised sugar and a touch of wood smoke. The finish is lingering and smoky.
