Fable Whisky Chapter 10 "Labyrinth" Inchgower 12 Year Old (57.6%)

This is a 12 year old Inchgower single malt, released as Chapter 10, "Labyrinth", in the Fable Whisky series. It is bottled at 57.6%. Inchgower stands at Buckie, close to the mouth of the River Spey, and was built in 1871. It has long been associated with the Bell's blend. The nose is slightly buttery, with sweet vanilla and a hint of dried banana. Two drops of water bring out fresh green herbs. The palate is sweet, with milk chocolate, shortbread and lemon peel, then sweet orange and grain. The finish is medium in length, with melon, dried banana and bitter orange peel.
