A 12 year old Inchgower in a one-litre bottle, bottled at 40% by Arthur Bell & Sons in the 1970s or 1980s and labelled 'De Luxe'. It was sold as a Highland malt, though Inchgower is a Speyside distillery. The notes describe a nose of guava, Korean pear and sugarcane, with wax, paraffin, light smoke and dried blossoms. The palate is oily and earthy, with light peat, linseed oil and pear. The finish is short to medium, fading through wax, citrus peel and faint smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
