Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky (4.5L)

Famous Grouse is a blended Scotch whisky in a large 4.5 litre bottle. Matthew Gloag began trading in whisky in Perth in the early nineteenth century, and the business became properly successful in 1860 under his son William B. Gloag. In 1935 Matthew Willie Gloag built its own bottling plant and bonded warehouse. The grouse has been the brand's emblem since 1897, a choice made by Matthew Gloag's daughter. The colour is a full golden yellow, with a strong, fresh aroma and a body from light to medium. It tastes sweet at first and creamy, with a little lemon and a hint of nuts, and finishes dry with light smoke.
