Fentimans Ginger Beer

A ginger beer from Fentimans, based on a botanical brewing recipe that Thomas Fentiman began brewing in England in 1905. He crushed ginger roots and boiled them in copper kettles, then fermented the syrup in wooden casks with yeast, sugar and botanicals including ginger, juniper berries, veronica and yarrow extract. He sold it from a horse-drawn cart in stone jars bearing a drawing of his dog, Fearless. The dog still appears on the Fentimans logo today.
