Fercullen 8 Years Old is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle. It has spent eight years maturing in a combination of American and European oak casks, and has a deep golden colour.
The nose is sweet with honey, ripe pear and green apple, along with light oak, vanilla and a little cinnamon. The palate is soft and creamy, with ripe apples and plums, honey, a hint of nuts, light wood and gentle spice of vanilla and clove. The finish is persistent, with a lightly spiced aftertaste and a touch of sweetness.
