Ferro China Bisleri Liquore (70cl, 25%)

Ferro China Bisleri is an Italian liqueur with roots in Milan in 1881, originally created by Dr Felice Bisleri. It combines herbal extracts with ferric ammonium citrate and has an attractive amber colour. The nose shows china and citrus over a background of aromatic herbs. On the palate the china notes mingle with orange and lemon, and a slight bitterness is balanced by a subtle sweetness. Traditionally a digestif, it can be served neat, lightly chilled, or over ice with a slice of orange. It also makes a base for cocktails and a winter punch.
