This is a ten-year-old single malt from Fettercairn, distilled on 15 June 2015 and bottled on 9 February 2026. It matured in a fresh tawny port hogshead, release EXP1089, and is No. 12 in Claxton's Exploration Series.
The nose brings strawberry jam, red berries, trifle and cream. On the palate there is a touch of brandy, berries in syrup and more trifle, with a gentle sweetness. The finish is long, sweet and fruity, with plenty of redcurrant.
