Fettercairn – 10 Year Old Fresh Tawny Port Cask Claxton's Exploration Series 2015/2025 (70cl, 50%)

This Highland single malt from Fettercairn belongs to the Claxton's Exploration Series. It was distilled on 15 June 2015 and matured for 10 years in a fresh tawny port hogshead. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour. The nose is bright with tropical fruit such as pineapple and papaya, plus fine citrus and a touch of freshness. The palate is full-bodied, with strawberries, raisins and sweet fruit, mild spice and the influence of the port cask. The finish is long and structured, with oak and spicy depth.
