Fettercairn 24 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Fettercairn distillery in Aberdeenshire, in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured for 24 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. The distillery was founded in 1824 and is owned by Whyte & Mackay. Its spirit stills have a cooling ring that makes the vapour re-condense and stay longer in contact with copper, giving a floral, fruity new make.
The whisky is described as showing the distillery's floral and tropical fruit character, with a rich, complex depth from the mixed casks.
