Fettercairn – 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt (70cl)

A 12-year-old Highland single malt from Fettercairn, in a 70cl bottle and a presentation box. It was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, which gives a colour of sunlight and amber honey. It is bottled at natural colour and non-chill filtered, for a fuller texture. The nose is tropical fruit, honeyed malt and soft vanilla oak. The palate brings bourbon-cask vanilla and ripe fruit alongside a honeyed sweetness, and the finish is smooth and gently oaky, with honey and fruit lingering.
