An 11-year-old Fettercairn single malt released as Carinos Fetos in the Alien Edition from Scotch Universe, bottled at 54.8% ABV. It spent nearly four years finishing in a first-fill Uruguayan Tannat wine barrique, and just 300 bottles were produced.
Fettercairn Distillery sits in the village of Fettercairn at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains in the Eastern Highlands. It is known for a copper cooling ring that lets water run down the outside of its pot stills, a method linked to an elegant, fruity whisky with tropical notes.
