This is a Fettercairn single malt from the distillery's Warehouse Collection, a series of small-batch releases drawn from its dunnage-style warehouses. Batch 001 was distilled in 2016 and aged in Warehouse 14 in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and local beer barrels. It was released in early 2023 and is bottled at 51.2% abv.
It is described as having warm toasty maltiness, cacao, crème caramel and soft wood spices, all brought together by Fettercairn's tropical, fruity character.
