This is Fettercairn 12 Year Old, a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% by the distillery itself.
The name Fettercairn is usually taken to mean the foot of the stone monument. The distillery stands on the southern edge of the Cairngorms, in the Eastern Highlands. It was founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay and, after Glenlivet, was the second distillery to receive an official licence to distil.
