Fettercairn 18 Year Old is a single malt matured in a hand-picked mix of first-fill and refill ex-bourbon American white oak casks, then finished in 100% Scottish oak. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The finish in Scottish oak adds richness and depth alongside the distillery's tropical fruit character.
The nose brings sugared almonds, baking spices, passion fruit and guava. The palate is exotic, with sugared fruits, patisserie sugar, brioche and spice, plus soft hints of berries. The finish carries cacao and natural vanilla.
