This is an 18 year old single malt from Fettercairn, in a 70cl bottle. It is an annual limited release.
The whisky was matured in a hand-picked mix of first fill and refill ex-bourbon American white oak casks, then finished in responsibly sourced casks of 100% Scottish oak. The pairing of the two cask types is said to bring balance, richness and depth to the tropical character of the distillery's house style.
