Fettercairn 18 Years is a Highland single malt from Aberdeenshire, in a 70cl bottle at 46.8% ABV.
It matured in first-fill and refill American white oak bourbon casks, then spent a further period in first-fill and second-fill Scottish oak casks.
The nose combines roasted almonds, baking spices, passion fruit and tropical fruit such as guava. The palate has exotic fruit syrup, patisserie sugar and brioche, with spice and soft traces of berries. The finish is soft and spicy, with cocoa and natural vanilla.
