This is a 28 year old Fettercairn distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2017 by Wm Cadenhead, in a 70cl bottle. It was bottled at cask strength, 55.4% ABV, after maturing in three bourbon hogsheads.
The nose offers ripe banana, mint and a little ash. The palate has light oak, marzipan, candied orange and icing sugar. The finish carries red fruit and a slight saltiness.
