This is a single cask Fettercairn, distilled in October 1995 and matured for 30 years in a hogshead. Signatory Vintage bottled it in April 2026 at a cask strength of 58.9%, without chill-filtering or colouring, and the cask gave 147 bottles.
Andrew Symington chose the cask himself for the Symington's Choice release in the Cask Strength Collection.
The nose is ripe apples and pears with a little peach and citrus, joined by soft oak, honey and gentle spice. The palate is full, dense and oily, with dried fruit, malt, vanilla, beeswax and toffee. The finish is long and dry, with oak, sandalwood and a touch of herbs.
