A single cask Fettercairn from the Highlands, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022 by Douglas Laing at 10 years old for its Provenance range. It is bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration. The whisky matured in a refill hogshead that yielded 422 bottles. The nose is bright and clean, warming to crunched barley, grist and nuts. The palate is warmly spiced and tongue-tingling, with lightly burnt butterscotch and molasses. On the finish the spices turn drier, giving way to sweet malt extract and gentle oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
