A 22 year old Fettercairn, a Highland single malt from a distillery whose label gives 1824 as its year of establishment. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, bottled in 2020 at 47% ABV and comes in a 70cl bottle.
Green apple, hay, dried fruit and vanilla lead the nose. The palate runs through banana, citrus fruit, figs, raisins, ginger and cedar wood. The finish brings pear, coffee, liquorice and cherry.
