Vanguard is a small batch single malt from Fettercairn, the Highland distillery, introduced in 2025. This is the first release of the series, and it is a limited bottling.
The whisky first matured in ex-bourbon casks. It was then given a further maturation in hybrid casks built from American oak staves and heavily charred Scottish oak staves. It was bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
