Warehouse 14 Batch 001 is the first release in Fettercairn's Warehouse 14 Collection, a series of small batch Highland single malts. The spirit was distilled in 2016 and matured in 81% ex-bourbon barrels, 7% refill ex-bourbon barrels and 12% local beer barrels.
It is bottled at 51.2%, without chill filtration and with its natural colour, a shimmering gold.
The palate brings vanilla, tropical fruit, honey and floral notes. The finish is warm and toasty, with tropical fruit, crème caramel, apricot tart, cacao, soft wood spices and a nutty note.
