Fettercairn – Warehouse 14 Batch No. 001 (70cl)

This is the first batch of Fettercairn's Warehouse Collection, in a 70cl bottle. It was made from a handpicked selection of ex-bourbon barrels and local beer barrels, filled with spirit from the Fettercairn stills in 2016 and matured in Warehouse 14. Each release in the collection explores a new maturation route while keeping the tropical house character that comes from the distillery's copper cooling ring. It is shimmering gold in colour. Vanilla, honey and floral notes lead on the nose. The palate is warm and toasty, with tropical fruits, crème caramel, apricot tart, cacao, soft wood spices and a pleasing nuttiness.
