This is a single malt from Fettercairn, Batch No. 004 of the Warehouse 2 releases. It was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2022, having matured in Warehouse 2 in a hand-picked mix of first and second fill American and Hungarian oak casks.
The palate shows Madagascan vanilla, poached pears and crushed pepper, with honeydew melon, passion fruit, burnt lemon and sweet oak. It is lively yet carefully balanced. The finish brings toffee, honey and a rich nuttiness.
