Fiano Sannio DOC from Janare at La Guardiense is a white wine from the Sannio hills in Campania. The Fiano grapes are hand harvested and carefully selected. It shows a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose offers white-fleshed fruit such as peach and pear, delicate floral notes and a light mineral touch. On the palate it has medium body, lively acidity, soft texture, aromatic herbs and a hint of almond on the finish. It pairs well with fish, fresh cheeses or as an aperitif. Serve at 8-10°C.
