Filey Bay STR Finish Batch 4 is an English whisky bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a 'field to bottle' whisky, matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in shaved, toasted and re-charred ex-red wine casks.
The wine casks add layers of sweet spices and red fruits. On the palate, dark berries and plum sit alongside warming cinnamon and clove. The finish is smooth and lingering, with a little oak and a gentle sweetness from the wine cask maturation.
