Moonlight Mayhem. Extended Cut is a small-batch, cask-strength straight bourbon from Filmland Spirits, bottled at 57.5% ABV. The label tells a film-poster tale of werewolves and bourbon. The whiskey is distilled in Indiana and produced in Kentucky.
The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. It is aged for at least four years in new charred American oak and bottled without dilution.
The nose offers caramel, cherry, green apple, vanilla and toasted corn, with a little rye spice. The palate is full-bodied and creamy, with cherry and chocolate.
