Blanton's Original Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This one comes from Barrel No. 405, dumped on 17 May 2021 from Rick No. 2.
The barrel was taken from the centre-cut of Warehouse H, a selection originally reserved for ambassadors, dignitaries and close associates of Colonel Blanton.
The nose is sweet, with citrus and oak, alongside creamy vanilla and hints of nuts and caramel.
