Finlaggan Cask Strength is an Islay single malt of light golden colour, bottled at 58% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is stronger than the standard Finlaggan.
The nose is elegant, with light nutty tones overshadowed by soot and a touch of tarmac. On the palate these fade a little, with tobacco alongside overripe apples and liquorice, and a background note of leather.
The finish is long, robust and smoky, with lemon and a salty edge.
