Finlaggan Eilean Mor is an Islay single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46%.
The name comes from Eilean Mor, the Big Island in Loch Finlaggan, which was home to the Clan Donald chiefs and the centre of their lordship.
The nose combines sweet peat smoke with a medicinal note, sea salt, oyster, seaweed and sand over light fruit. The palate is full and peppery with peat smoke, tar, iodine, oil and sweet malt. The finish is long and full, with peat smoke.
