Finlaggan Original (70cl, 40%)

Finlaggan Original is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40%. It is deep gold in colour and is described as dry, smoky and distinctly peaty, with a light maritime touch. The nose gives clear peat smoke with fresh citrus and a subtle salty note. On the palate it is dry and smoky, with pronounced peat and a delicate maritime character, and the salty accents and citrus set off the earthy smoke. The finish stays dry and smoky, with lingering peat, a light saltiness and a hint of citrus freshness.
