Forty Creek Barrel Select is a Canadian blended whisky, in a 375ml bottle at 40% ABV. Rye, barley and corn are distilled and aged separately in selected oak barrels, then blended together.
It has a rich golden amber colour and a medium to full body. The nose offers sweet vanilla, honey, toasted oak, cocoa and light butterscotch, with a little apricot. On the palate come dark sweet fruit, vanilla, toasted wood, caramel and gentle rye spice. The finish is long and warm, with oak spice, vanilla and honey.
