Forty Creek Double Barrel Reserve (75cl, 40%)

Forty Creek Double Barrel Reserve is a Canadian whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Rye, corn and barley are distilled separately in copper pot stills and matured individually in oak before being blended. The blend then spends up to two years in handpicked American oak ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky. This second barrelling adds vanilla, caramel and toffee character. The nose brings roasted grain, deep vanilla, toasted spice, pecan and walnut. On the palate come toasted nuts and caramel, then creamy vanilla and a note of roasted spice. The finish is smooth and mellow, with roasted nuts and baking spice.
